I purchased a Lazy Logz, What now?

To get the most out of your piece we recommend keeping it indoors.

Its happy place is indoors away from moisture and extreme temperature changes such as heat produced from wood burners and the fluctuating temperatures emitted by air conditioning.

If you choose to keep your piece outside, it will require more love and attention as the elements begin to weather the timber.

Take a good look at your artwork every six months and check for discoloration, cracks and scratches that may have occurred. Don’t be alarmed, it is normal for your piece to change over time. Timber, in particularly hardwood, dries at a much slower rate than softwoods. Melanie does her best to ensure your masterpiece has had sufficient drying before she starts to work the piece. This is at least 3-5 years depending on the size and species of the timber. Timber is constantly adjusting to its environment, and this means that your piece may crack or discolor over time.
